Black & Brown Femme Film Festival (BBFF) is Chicago’s nonprofit film festival dedicated exclusively to amplifying the voices of Black, Brown, women-identifying, nonbinary, and gender-expansive filmmakers. Join us for two days of powerful independent films, filmmaker Q&As, community conversations, and a hands-on smartphone filmmaking workshop. Featuring 43 films from around the world, BBFF celebrates stories that challenge perspectives, spark dialogue, and center voices too often left out of mainstream cinema.
