Trans Community Clothing Swap

Chicago Public Library’s Bucktown-Wicker Park Branch is hosting a gender-inclusive clothing exchange for clean, gently used adult-size clothing and accessories. During the first hour, transgender and gender-nonconforming attendees have priority when selecting items to take home; everyone is welcome to donate throughout the event.

Bring a bag and place items on the tables marked for their sizes. Accepted items include adult-size clothing, purses, scarves, hats, and like-new shoes. Please do not bring dirty, stained, or damaged clothing, underwear, bras, socks, jewelry, or unrelated household items. A clothing donation is not required to take something, and unclaimed items will be donated after the swap.

The exchange runs Saturday, November 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Branch, 1701 N. Milwaukee Ave.
