Sapphic Crochet + Mutual Aid

This is a crochet class for the sapphic community! Please feel free to show up with any level of experience, even complete beginners are welcome. We will have teachers to help you learn the basics, as well as all the materials you need to get started! This space is meant for people to make friends and create art, so please feel free to join even if you already know how to crochet. You can bring your current project and make friends!

Tickets are $10. All profits from the tickets are going to be donated to support local Chicago communities. For this event, we will be donating all profits to Albany Park Community United. They are a grassroots group of Chicagoans who are supporting our neighbors by building a neighborhood safety net around Albany Park schools. Through visibility, rapid support, and community care, they are protecting kids and strengthening our community. Donations help fund their weekly grocery drop, which supports over 80 families.
