Morton Grove: Pride in the Park

June 18 @ 5:00 pm
Free

Join us for Morton Grove’s PRIDE in the Park, hosted by Morton Grove Park District. All are welcome to this all-ages event & admission is free. There will be food vendors, entertainment, kids activities, tables for local groups/organizations with information and give-aways, and more! The entertainment will include: A performance by Kelsey Montanez, who has been described as one of Chicago’s best kept secrets. Her potent blend of blues, pop, and psychedelia has captured a devoted fanbase; and line dancing with the Second City Outlaws, a Country Dancing Performing Group that is open and inclusive to all. Their performances include teaching fun and easy line dance lessons.

In case of bad weather on June 18th, the event will be held on Thursday, June 25th, 5-8 pm.

This event is part of the Morton Grove Has Pride initiative celebrating our LGBTQ+ community. This initiative is the result of a working coalition of Morton Grove Pride, Morton Grove Park District, Morton Grove Public Library, the Village of Morton Grove, and Maine and Niles Townships.
