Imagining Collective Liberation: Why art matters for LGBTQ+ migrant rights

October 4 @ 1:00 pm
Free

For our Community Action Month in October, Migrant Support Collective is hosting an event series that uses the power of art and storytelling to raise awareness around the realities of ICE detention for LGBTQ+ migrants.

On October 4th, join us for an afternoon showcasing three local Chicago artists working across different mediums. Artists will share their work, talk about their creative journey, and participate in a brief Q&A. Attendees will be able to mingle, take a closer look at the art, and purchase pieces directly from the artists.

Events are free and open to the community. If you would like to sponsor Community Action Month, please contact sponsorships@migrantsupportcollective.org.
