The usual lesbian drama is disrupted by the arrival of a newly single straight woman who quickly realizes sheโ€™s not as straight as she thought. A story about chosen family, visibility, love and loss, Bluefish Cove was the first lesbian play to open at a mainstream New York Theater for its premiere in 1980.
