Family History Book Building Workshop

The Family History Book Building Workshop is a small, hands-on session for people who are ready to start documenting their family’s story and want to be around others doing the same thing.
You’ll spend the session building the foundation of your own family history book, learning how to organize what you have, and connecting with other budding family historians in the room.
In Color Productions was founded to document the stories of Black, Queer, and Southern communities. This workshop grew out of a 52-year family reunion tradition and a historian role that’s been passed down for nearly 50 of those years. We’re sharing what we’ve learned along the way with the community.
Bring yourself, a laptop, and whatever you’re starting with, whether that’s photos, names, recipes, or stories.
