Black LGBTQ+ Beach Day

Join Lighthouse Foundation of Chicagoland for the third annual Black LGBTQ+ Beach Day — a vibrant summer celebration of joy, visibility, community, and wellness for Black LGBTQ+ individuals across Chicagoland and our allies.

Following a powerful 2025 event that brought nearly 400 people together, Beach Day returns in 2026 with music, games, wellness activations, community resources, food, and opportunities for connection throughout the day.

More than a Pride event, Black LGBTQ+ Beach Day is a space to reclaim joy, deepen community connection, and access vital resources in an affirming, celebratory environment.

This year’s event will also feature HIV/STI testing and wellness resources as part of National HIV Testing Day.
