Gerber/Hart Queer History Symposium

Join us for Gerber/Hart’s third Queer History Symposium on Saturday, October 3rd from 9 AM to 4 PM! This full day symposium will highlight artists, researchers, students, and community members who have utilized Gerber/Hart’s collections in the past year.

This year, the Symposium will take place at the Hoover-Leppen Theatre at the Center on Halsted (3656 N Halsted St)! Opening remarks from curator Jack Schneider and closing remarks by historian John D’Emilio. Panel discussions on Arts in the Archives, Archival Silences, Queer Road Trips, and more!
