Pride Week Navy Pier Skyline Sessions feat. Renee Goust, The Braided Janes, Wiliana Veras

June 25 @ 5:00 am
$10.00

MUSAS is back with a special stage takeover at Navy Pier!

Join us for Pride at the Pier at Navy Pier’s Wave Wall Stage (600 E. Grand Ave., Chicago) — located at the base of the iconic architectural Wave Wall stairs.

Curated by The Braided Janes as part of Navy Pier’s Skyline Sessions, this powerful evening of music features headliner Renee Goust alongside Chicago’s own The Braided Janes and Wiliana Veras.

Rooted in celebration, resistance, and community, this women- and LGBTQ+-fronted showcase highlights the vibrant diversity and artistry thriving within our communities.

Performing Artists
The Braided Janes are an internationally acclaimed bilingual trio blending post-punk energy with tropi-alt rock influences. Recognized by NPR, PBS, and Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Relations, the Chicago-based band creates music rooted in movement, identity, and cultural connection.

Wiliana Veras is a Dominican-American singer-songwriter whose soulful blend of Afro-Caribbean rhythms, jazz, folk, and alternative influences creates an intimate yet powerful sound deeply connected to storytelling, ancestry, and healing.

Headliner Renee Goust is an award-winning queer Mexican singer-songwriter known for her fearless fusion of regional Mexican music, folk, and social activism. Through humor, vulnerability, and unapologetic authenticity, her music champions LGBTQ+ visibility and social justice.

As MUSAS celebrates 5 years in the making, this event marks the beginning of an even bigger vision to uplift women, LGBTQ+, and multicultural artists through music, art, and community-centered programming.

Thank you for supporting our programming — and stay tuned for what’s next.
