Love Still Dances: 10 Years After Pulse

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida — a tragedy that took the lives of 49 LGBTQ+ people and forever changed our community.
Join the Second City Sisters as we gather in remembrance, reflection, resistance, and joy.
The evening will begin with a silent processional through Northalsted/Boystown as we honor those we lost and all those impacted by violence against our community. Along the route, the Sisters will carry Veils of Remembrance & Shame to help release grief, pain, and heavy spirits, alongside Veils of Joy & Blessings meant to spread love, healing, laughter, and hope into the universe.
Following the procession, we invite the community to continue together in celebration of queer resilience with a traveling dance party and bar crawl through the neighborhood — because joy itself is an act of defiance.
The evening will conclude with a final communal blessing, sending our love, dancing, laughter, and light to the 49 souls lost that tragic night, and reaffirming our commitment to protecting and uplifting our community today.
Come walk with us.
Come dance with us.
Come remember with us.
