More about Beyond X&Y:

Beyond X&Y was founded by Dr. Jey McCreight (they/he), a trans Genomics PhD, science communicator, and local Chicagoan. Our mission is to mobilize biomedical experts and allies to fight unscientific propaganda around “biological sex” that is used to attack trans and intersex people. Because we trust the real science, and we know biology isn’t binary.

Jey accidentally kickstarted their communication career back in 2010, with the viral moment of “Boobquake.” When a cleric claimed immodestly dressed women caused earthquakes, Jey thought, “Let’s test that!” That experience taught a valuable lesson: You need humor, storytelling, and whimsy to communicate – not just facts.

Your attendance will help Dr. Jey test an important new hypothesis: Is trans joy as powerful as the right fears? Will our gender-bending magic cause an earthquake under Mar-a-Lago? Are Jey’s powers gone after top surgery, or amplified? We’ll see!
