Let’s connect! Chicago Public Library’s Bezazian Branch and the LGBTQ+ Intergenerational Dialogue Project invite you to a panel discussion full of hope, joy, experience, and personal stories. We will bring together racially, socioeconomically, and gender diverse cohorts of LGBTQ+ college students and older adults (60+) for a night of themed dialogues, and personal reflection on what it means to be transgender. The project began with a simple question: what might we learn about our own experiences through deep conversations with those younger or older than us? Specifically, what might we learn about what it means to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community in the past, present, and future? Story-telling will be the focus of this intergenerational dialogue. We will spend the first hour of the program listening to folks talk about their personal experiences ending with a Q&A session. If you’re interested in learning, allyship, connecting with your neighbors, and fostering love and acceptance, this is the place for you!
This program is designed for adults 18+ and will be held in person.
