Vanishing Point: Intersecting Planes

Join Vanishing Point Ensemble at Dorothy for an evening of contemporary chamber works! This is the second concert series of our inaugural season, and the program, ‘Intersecting Planes’, features works whose composers interweave contrasting musical traditions and fragmentation. Influences include Renaissance chorale and Gregorian chant, Celtic fiddle tunes, Georgian and Japanese folk song, heavy metal, American and Appalachian traditions, and Mozart.

Works by Kevin Lau, Gabriela Ortiz, Paul Wiancko, Gabriella Smith, and Reena Esmail. Program will be approximately 1 hour, no intermission.

Doors at 6pm and the performance will begin at 7pm. Dorothy remains open after the event until 11pm.
