Reading Rainbow: A Queer Roast & Toast

The library is open as Chicago’s funniest queers take the mic to read and roast each other to hell—and give some compliments too.
The Gay for Pay team joins Becca Nix Tham to present a one-night-only Queer Roast and Toast that will make you clutch your pearls and make you hurl (with laughter). If you thought the Comedy Central roasts weren’t gay enough, then we’re here, we’re queer, and we’re reading the house down! You’ll get to see standup sets from everyone on the lineup to learn who they are and what makes them tick before those juicy details are turned against them in a brawling gay-on-gay roast.

Your hosts Mary Fiala and Dan Hickey will be joined by Becca Nix Tham, Rey Tang, “Gabby” Gabe Sklan, Shawn Banks, Delilah Orizaba, and Merriam Levkowitz for a night of comedy that’s full of jabs, insults, debauchery, and the gayest thing of all—love.
