A sultry, queer reimagining of the French classic La Piscine, Other People’s Bodies unfolds over one sweltering summer weekend, where desire, jealousy, and unfinished business refuse to stay buried.

Olivia, a modern dancer, is vacationing with her husband Seb at a secluded country house when their fragile calm is shattered by the sudden arrival of Mateo—Olivia’s former best friend and, briefly, Seb’s lover. The three haven’t seen each other in eight years, since Mateo abruptly severed ties after a devastating betrayal.

Tensions rise when Mateo brings along his young, magnetic lover Zaki, reopening old wounds and igniting new temptations. Matters escalate further with the arrival of two more figures from the past: Gabriella, a former dance colleague, and her husband Fabian—Olivia’s lover before Seb.

As bodies gather and boundaries dissolve, long-simmering passions, regrets, and desires collide, leading to an emotionally charged reckoning in which nothing—and no one—emerges unchanged.
