Illinois Policy Forum on LGBTQ+ and HIV Aging Issues

Please join Pride Action Tank and the AIDS Foundation Chicago for the 6th annual Illinois Policy Forum on LGBTQ+ and HIV Aging Issues. This year’s forum will be on Thursday, December 18th from 8:30 until 10 am. The program is co-hosted by Center on Addison, Equality Illinois and Golden Rainbows of Illinois South (GRIS).

Our featured speaker is Michelle Hoersch, Chief Planning Officer for the Multi-sector Plan on Aging in the Illinois Department on Aging. You’ll also hear from panelists State Senator Lakesia Collins, Diane Slezak of AgeOptions, Niya Kelly of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, Starr De La Santos and more to discuss the Economics of Aging: Challenges and Opportunities. We’ll also receive updates on the Illinois Commission on LGBTQ+ and HIV Aging and the work towards a long-term care bill of rights focused on LGBTQ+ and older adults living with HIV. And, of course, it would not be a Pride Action Tank event without a storyteller!
