Halo-Halo Project – Nurses Exhibit Closing Ceremony

If you haven’t seen my exhibit documenting the history of Filipino nurses here in the U.S. or any of the other displays or artwork from the Halo-Halo Project, we’re hosting a closing ceremony with guided tours and an artists’ celebration. The event is free and open to the public. Additionally, I’ll be discussing a new, expanded Filipino nurses’ exhibit I’m working on with the Filipino American National Historical Society of Greater Chicago that will debut in May 2026 at the International Museum of Surgical Sciences on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. We’re looking for items, volunteers and sponsors for that expanded exhibit. Hope to see you on Jan. 17!
