Crowned: A Completely Serious Search for a 10? is a playful, over-the-top tribute to the time-honored tradition of the beauty pageant, just with more sparkle, louder cheers, and way fewer rules.

Hosted by the hilarious and wildly talented Meatball, this all-gender competition features 10 contestants vying for the crown across three categories: Runway Presentation, Q&A, and Talent. It’s a little bit classic pageantry, a little bit chaotic fun, and a whole lot of heart.

A panel of celebrity judges and community leaders, including Emmy winning makeup artist Laila McQueen, Chicago drag legend and King of Drag judge Tenderoni, the “Very Demure” Tiktok sensation Jools Lebron, Joli Robinson, CEO of Center on Halsted, and Troy Taylor, Development Manager at Brave Space Alliance will score the contestants and bring their own sparkle to the stage. The audience gets in on the action too, with the chance to vote for Fan Favorite by donating to their favorite contestant’s fundraising page. Because at the heart of all the fun, Crowned is a fundraiser supporting the vital work of LGBTQIA+ organizations throughout the Chicagoland area.
