ChiPride Volunteering + Care For Real

Join other LGBTQ+ and Ally volunteers as we assist Care For Real with outdoor food distribution at their pantry! You may be packing carts of food, bringing food outside to clients, packing bags, or stocking shelves. Distribution involves lifting bags and boxes that may weigh up to 30 lbs. Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes as most roles take place outside.

Location, Parking, and Public Transportation: There is no on-site parking at our locations, and parking behind the Edgewater location is not permitted. Street parking is available but can be limited. We recommend arriving early to allow time to find parking. Both locations are easily accessible via public transportation.
