Asians and Friends Chicago (AFC), a social group for LGBTQ Asians, allies and those interested in Asian cultures, will host a celebration of song featuring AFC “celebrities”ndisguised in elaborate costumes during Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) month, all to support its 2025 Chicago Pride Parade float and related activities.
AFC’s LGBTQ “Masquerade Songbird” evening will take place on Sat., May 17, 2025, at the Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan in Chicago at 7 p.m. In addition to the lively singing competition, D.J. Aaron Sager will provide musical entertainment and support the songbirds as they strut their stuff in ornate, homespun costumes. Much like the popular TV show, guest judges will try to identify the singer and whittle the competition down to a final winner.
