DESCRIPTION:Our community is under attack\, and we need your voice now more than ever. \nAcross the country\, we are seeing the rise in harmful efforts targeting LGBTQ+ people\, including renewed pushes to legitimize and expand so-called “conversion therapy\,” a practice that has been widely discredited and condemned for the lasting harm it causes. These attacks threaten the safety\, dignity\, and well-being of our community\, especially LGBTQ+ youth. \nOn May 21\, 2026\, LGBTQ+ Illinoisans and our allies will come together in Springfield to advance equality and send a clear message to our elected officials: our lives are worth protecting. We must do everything in our power to ensure Illinois remains a true sanctuary for LGBTQ+ people\, a place where everyone can live openly\, safely\, and authentically. \nJoin us and bring your friends. Share this call to action with your networks. Together we can stand strong against hate and work towards a future rooted in dignity\, justice\, and care for all.
