DESCRIPTION:Chicago Tap Allstars\, a collective of Tap dance artists and organizations brought together by M.A.D.D. Rhythms and Chicago Tap Theatre\, is proud to announce the return of “Winter Wonderland\,” Saturday\, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Harold Washington Cultural Center\, 4701 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.  \nGet ready to be blown away by the talent of Chicago’s tap community; featuring M.A.D.D. Rhythms\, Chicago Tap Theatre\, collaborations between Chicago’s premiere choreographers and\, for the first time\, performances by youth following in their footsteps. Choreographers include Bril Barrett from M.A.D.D. Rhythms\, who is choreographing a community-wide tap dance (any advanced+ level tap dancer is encouraged to come to rehearsals\, learn the piece and perform it!). Likewise\, Davon Suttles (also fom M.A.D.D. Rhythms) will be choeograping a youth Chicago Tap Allstars piece that will premiere in this show. Don’t miss out on the chance to experience the magic of tap dancing in person. Grab your friends and family\, and let’s make some wonderful memories together. \nThe total running time is currently one hour and 50 minutes\, including a 15-minute intermission. General admission tickets are $35\, senior tickets are $28\, youth tickets (12 and under) are $25 and VIP tickets are $75 including a pre-show reception beginning at 12 p.m. featuring coffee and sweets from Bittersweet and a curated gallery about the history of Chicago tap dance. There are also pay-it-forward non-reedemable tickets available for $35\, a donation for someone else who couldn’t afford to see the show to get the chance. Full gala tickets\, which start at $300\, include a cocktail hour starting at 5:30 PM followed by a plated dinner\, pre-concert entertainment and auction\, and a DJ-hosted\, open-bar\, after party where guests can mingle with the performers. The concert-only ticket at $150 includes the 7:30 PM performance and access to the after party. Both full-gala and concert-only tickets include valet parking.
